![]() ![]() Reaching new player levels unlocks new buildings within each category – those categories are “Houses,” “Community Buildings,” “Factories,” “Farming,” “Decorations,” and “Special.” You’ll always need coins in order to build something new, so make sure you have enough in the bank before you decide to handle that task. Constructing all sorts of new buildings has different requirements tied to them.It feels tedious to build every single one in order rather when I could pick and choose the ones that appeal to me (I have at least 3 or 4 available to me right now, not sure if that's normal.) I haven't always built the houses in order, at times favoring a more diverse landscape or my own preferred aesthetics. Is that right? And does it really matter? As you progress in the game, buildings take a long time to finish anyway. ![]() Do y'all ever skip community buildings/jump around order wise? I take it the only reason not to is that (I believe?) each one requires more materials than the previous, so it's "easier"/faster to raise your population cap and keep up with the production of factory goods you need if you go with the next least "demanding" building. For the most part, I've been building the community buildings in the order they're presented, one at a time (since I learned that building several at once throws off the trains' algorithm.) But I get a little bummed sometimes when I see buildings that appear prettier or more exciting to me but I still have a few more to go before I get to them ha.
